All of our rules are in place to protect our fish and grounds.
• Please take care of all of your catches.
• Maximum of 3 rods per angler.
• Never leave your rods unattended to walk around the lake or come to the dining area. Always wind in.
• All fish to be removed by use of the sling provided only. Nets are for netting, slings are to transport (PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE FISH VIA ANY OTHER METHOD).
• No sacking of fish in hot weather (please follow our hot weather protocol, which can be found inside each cabin).
• No Predator fishing • Make sure receivers are working so you don’t miss bites at night .
• Unhooking mats to be used at all times.
• Carp care kits MUST be used for every fish.
• No fixed leads of any kind – rigs checks will be made. If in doubt please ask. We are happy to help and advise.
• DO NOT leave rigs and hooks baited and unattended at any time. If you are leaving your pegs please make sure hooks and rigs are out of harms way and no animals can get access to a baited rig.
• No Littering - Please use the bins provided.
• No glass bottles to be taken near the lake.
• No braided lines except marker and spod rods.
• No snag leaders.
• Minimum of 15lb breaking strain line.
• No swimming in the lake allowed.
• No excessive drinking of alcohol.
• Maximum 3.5oz lead to be used.
• No bent hooks allowed. Again, if in doubt regarding rigs please ask. We are happy to advise.
• No fires under any circumstances.
• No BBQ's via any other means than the BBQ provided.
• No loud music.
• Please use toilets provided, Do Not use bankside as a toilet.
• Anyone seen urinating around the lodges, will be asked to leave(use the toilets provided).
We expect all anglers to respect all rules and behave in an appropriate manner whilst on our property, we reserve the right to take appropriate action to remove any persons not complying with the rules. Please remember these rules are for the benefit of you and all our guests to ensure everyone enjoys themselves during their fishing holiday.
